It tends to mess it up if there's a range symbol nearby…
For example in Fally at the east side of the furnace building. I tried calling FindLadderColor multiple times in different worlds and 6 times out of 10 it outputted the symbol's color as ladder's.
Would've tried to fix it, but I'm too lazy to get all them different colors for ladders and the symbols :p
Ah, yes, I've got the colors it messed up the latest:
ladder was 8533 and range symbol was 1325160
