The battle of the Bots is the ultimate autoing competition! Show that you know the best way to train skills, and/or know the best scripts. The first one to auto to the goal wins!

The requirements:

A brand new char. Out of tutorial island. In lummy bank.

The Goal:
50 mining.
40 smithing.
40 runecrafting!

Goodluck!



How to join:

Get a char which meets the requirments, and PM the username+password to me. I'll check if the char is ok and change the password if it is.

When I publish the goal, I'll change the password back to the original one.

After the goal is published: You need to auto like hell

The first one to get the goal and PM me wins. A screenshot as some kind of "proof" you got it would be nice in case I'm offline.

Specific rules:

You are allowed to use ANY script for this competition

You do NOT need to post which script you use(d), although it would be nice

The prize:

The winner will receive competition winner's cup

Anyone offer an account?

Brain, you mean if your character gets banned during the competition? yes.
If you have taken photo proof, before it is banned then it will be counted.

Thats 100% unfair to the jr's, its as if you want to win instantly, its not an honorable thing to do :pp

Nothing was confirmed afaik, but it's ok (and I might join :p)
The reason for the goal to stay secret, was to keep anyone from having an advantage. Even having your char at a certain place (like varrock instead of lumby) can get you those 5 minutes you needed to win.
Besides, there are tons of scripts out already. No need to make your own.
Anyways, original idea was by Pwnaz0r ^-^

To be completely honest, I don't really bot at all. I don't play RuneScape, but for a competition like this, I am merely wondering if we are allowed to use a bot other then SCAR?

no you cannot use other bots.
you can use any script from here.

Also, the computer clocks are adjustable…easy cheating?

Besides, it would be unfair to the people over here who use other bots which might be even better. After all, it's called Battle of the Bots, and not battle of the scripts :p

Huh? unfair? How? Everyone will be on the same page of the competition… if the Jr. competitors shouldn't know how to script, then you have enough time to search for a decent script on the forums and use that for your bot… I am only asking for enough time for everyone to get the chance to write a little script which completes the task… How is that unfair?? :confused:

i will NOT be giving out the goal ingo before it starts. if you want a scripting competition enter yourself in one not a botting comp.

I would join, but I may not have a script for the respective skill. And I prefer to use my own scripts so … if you are still adamant on keeping the goal a secret then I suppose good luck to the participants.

I think this is going to have to be delayed, due to the sudden wave of updates Jagex has given us to deal with. I don't think this should begin until SRL Rev 36 is out. That's my opinion anyway.

Dev Rev has already been updated, but only with the GameTab functions. I think we should wait until everything is ready for use; UpText, SmallChars, option choosing etc.

srl dev rev.

I just use scar 3.21 pre release's fonts with 3.20, all good.
Stat chars need to be updated though but its not gonna effect this comp.
Ive been using Dev Rev for like 3 days now.

haha well since everyone is making new account for the competition, they shouldn't mean much to them, so the prize should be all the new accounts in the competition, so they get like an army for a prize. And it makes it more interesting, makes being in the competiton like a gamble.

it usually takes me like 3-4 days to get 5-8 accounts to 60 mining autoing. Just FYI for future events.

I used a script that Im making called Ore Chipper [SMART], I am going to release it in a week or 2.
For runecrafting, I used a private script of mine that I made about 2 months go.
I forgot what script I used for smithing though :(

The goal should involve combat stats because don't we try to blend in our botters? I said something like 40-40-40(at,str,def), and 3 skills in the 70s. That should take longer… but no longer than a month(plus it will weed out those that auto all day, as they will most likely get bannaged).

How long would it take for me to get my cup?
