Title says all :p
Might be just the appropriate cup for him, as it's members.

Yes please.

Is there a "feature list" for Mostly Harmless we can browse over (or am I thinking of the wrong thing?)?

I was about to elect him for a useful posters cup, but I guess we can give him this one too..

WTF? Someone removed his mostly harmless because he simply demanded it? http://www.villavu.com/forum/showpost.php?p=595749&postcount=32 I mean, maybe in a couple of months if we see a change in his attitude it should be removed…but the whole of (active) SSRL voted in favour of giving him this cup, and because he comes back and makes an angry post a couple of people in SRL Members who can't see his immaturity agree with, its removed?

And he hasn't changed - the fact that he would even try to blame weed and expect to get away with it is another troll - experiencing withdrawal symptoms and "changes in brain chemistry", the same ones that I'm guessing have been proven to not exist?

Bans being removed from IRC without consultation with the original banner…cups being removed without consultation of the people who voted it in after being unanimously agreed upon…We may as well not have any other mods/admins/OPs at all if someone is just running this place the way they want without caring for other "respected members" opinions

Well, yeah, I'd say he's kinda harmful. Not mostly harmless, but harmful.

I granted the cup, I removed the cup.
And no not because he "demanded it"

And for the record, I only touch my own bans.

But other people don't so ha. You're suspect until we find the unbanner, apparently.

Granted it at the request of 8 SSRL+'ers…I mean if theres a good reason, sure, but on community decisions like this it's just suprising to see this happen

I don't think anyone here believed that he would be as deeply offended by the Mostly Harmless cup as he appeared to be.

I hope that SSRL trusts the discretion of the Mod team more than IceFire apparently does. After all, that's what started ALL of this.

What's done is done. I suggest that if he keeps his nose clean, we consider the matter closed.

If SSRL strongly feels that he should have that cup and wants to post another poll, then we should take that into consideration as well, but if he keeps up his past behavior, my guess is that he'll be banned before any of that would occur and the point will be moot.

Hm. Odd. I have always values Icefire's opinion. He is rather cynical yes, but usually gives very well balanced albiet harsh judgements on matters.

Mostly Harmless? Certainly not. It is an insulting cup…. and he picked that up quite well.

I don't think he has an attitude problem; little authistic yes, but always a balanced read.

I loved his criticisms over a KYAB.

That is why I removed it again shortly after granting it.
Mostly harmless never struck me as an insulting cup until I was thinking about it after granting it, if icefire really deserved that cup. So when I came on later to remove it again that was at the time he had posted his last post in the thread.

I have said this many times, I have lots of respect for Icefire, yes he can be wild at times but onces you get through that and get to know him for who he really is he is a great guy to talk to and has been an amazing friend to me. He has helped me through many rough patches.

Once I realized the nature of the cup and removed it I sent him an apology. He said he forgives us (me) and has put it behind him and wishes the staff takes his apology thread sincerely.

Did he delete his other thread where he attacked the staff and users and continued to claim that he had done nothing wrong? I can't seem to find it anymore.

Why was he given a useful posters cup?

Edit: nvm, it's gone now.
