Assisted Playing.

So, cycrosism came out with the idea, but I think we can take it to another level.

I recently(like two days ago) made a script that would make the character enter into the safe portal at clan wars, and then I train on these guys(most have 1 def… cuz they are pures). I can get close to about 30k an hour at like 68 strength. But that isn't the only way we can use it.

Discuss other ideas of "assisted playing" here.

So far I have only made one that supports iron at varrock east mine, I am planning to make it support more ores and locations
these holidays

wonderful… but i don't think you can ever do good ores because that will go over the trade limit. You would have to do a bunch of quests for higher trade limit… or cash or something(your main guy never walks, just the bot does… faster mining/gathering/watever)

Also, RC could be used for this… just in case when the bot comes back you don't have a full load yet… you could say "load done" or something, and that would trigger them to trade you.

You can make ess runners come and trade another bot that stands at the air altar, they him 26 unnoted ess and he gives them 26 noted so the trades are balanced.

The idea is that the banker accepts the ores, runs to bank and notes them, then runs back to the mine. Then when the miner finishes the next load, it trades the banker the unnoted ores for the noted, and the banker runs back to bank and it repeats. That way, each time the trade is done theres no net gain or loss on either account (apart from the first trade) so the trade limit isn't a problem. And yeah, can use InterScarMessaging for that.

yes there is a problem. a full load of gold/adamant/mithril/maybe coal is over the trade limit of a level 3 account with no quests. thus it can't take the whole load to the bank. it can't even take one rune ore. so unless you spend time doing all of the f2p quests… and some p2p ones too… you can only use it for lower leveled players. that is where the gp comes in. Have the botter have some gp to buy the ores. then bring them back in noted form and the miner buys them back.(kinda worthless i know)

Finally an idea that might justify running reflection and a signed client…

RC would probably derive quite a bit of benefit, although you would be limited to 1 runner if you logged in signed/unsigned. One runner wouldn't be enough to occupy your time, and you wouldn't want to just sit and wait. I suppose that you could run alongside a second account and bank together, effectively doubling your capacity each trip.

Of course, we could go big and try for some sort of SRL Mule Team consortium of essence runners. Like say each person that wants to participate has 5 runner accounts with some essence on them. A web site would keep track of "points" earned by loaning out your mules to another player. You could then use the points earned to rent mules from others.

You load 2 or 3 signed SMARTs, which ping the website every minute or two. The job request would specify the world and have SMART first change to the appropriate world. If you get a request, you log in on one of your accounts and start running essence. After 20 loads it logs out and goes back into ping mode until it gets another job request. Although one ip would be limited to one signed client per world, 5 or 6 different people could each lend out one runner for a job.

It's far beyond my capabilities, but I'm sure some coding whiz could make that sort of system work.

And Mormonman, a lvl 3 can trade tens of millions of gp worth in any trade, as long as it's balanced. If you're trading 26 noted ores for 26 unnoted ores, the trade will always be perfectly balanced and anyone could do that.

If you did this, they'd probably change the RS rules. Or make bans more extreme, because technically, if Player A is legit, and uses a bot on another account, then they could only ban the bot for now. Even though Player A it's playing "unfairly". So we should do this ASAP ;)

there would be no actual proff that the person mining knew the person 'working' for them is a bot, so they couldnt ban

… They'd be on the same IP. I don't think anyone is THAT stupid.. ;)

haha yea didnt really think of that, but just have one account on unsigned, pretty sure that doesnt log your ip, i remember hearing it ages ago not sure how true it is tho

Great idea!

I want to get started right away on something like this - if anyone else would work on it with me, let me know! Just, you'll have to excuse me, I'm a bit rusty on SCAR/SRL scripting XD

How would they know you just aren't doing it yourself? You could have two clients open, mining with one and walking with the other (both doing it legit). You just don't want to waste the time walking with the good character you want the xp on…

Wow Tara that's a genious plan truly!
Now if only we had someone to do it lol.

Hyper, it is still against the rules to multi-login.

cycrosism

2009-07-02 04:11:38

There is a really easy way to multi-log ill explain how i do it.

I first off all i have 2 clients open both to the same world but not logged in yet, write the username and password in both clients then try to log into them both really fast (at the same time) then bam. Multilogged.

Also it wont matter there are plenty of times when brothers and sisters play in the same world that would be mutli-logging too, but how will jagex know the difference?

I had an idea like this a while ago. You could have 50+ level 3s all with 26 rune ess all waiting at the altar.

The first script would just trade then craft runes with your main.
The second script would log on to the level 3s one by one and trade with your main.

Then when all your lvl 3s are out of ess your main would log out and the second script would walk all your 3s to the bank and back.

This cuts down on the time that your main is actually online so your less likely to get banned. (or you can get more xp in the same amount of time)

The only problem is all of your lvl 3s would need to have finished Rune Mysteries. I started making a solver but i never finished it.

cycrosism

2009-07-02 12:18:07

Yeah but Heysus, will that work? I mean with the trade limit and all, unless you then trade the runes you crafted back to the noob I guess that could work

It would trade noted ess for the unnoted ess.
