SRL Archive - Banned from RS

I know that RSBOTers got mostly banned, but has anyone, who used scar only gotten banned? If you have / know someone, then post on this thread.

Yeah, My whole army got banned from only using SCAR.

Ofcourse you can get banned using scar. It's mostly, when you overdo botting(12+ hours a day), are stupid or use a bad script ;).

caused, length has nothing to do with it. I auto 18 hours a day (used to, I'm gonna start again just to prove something >.<) and I never got banned. Just check it every once and awhile and pause the script, do something legit (PM someone or something.. randomly change your outfit.. w/e you want), then resume the script. It's not a big deal.

I'm going to have to go with 99_ with this one. On my main I've gotten 99 Woodcutting and 85 Mining using SCAR, and some of those I've autoed close to 20 hours a day.

I've also thought about maybe they don't look at my account as much considering it's been actively used for years, and I've been a member for 80% of that. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's just what's come to my mind. :)

JaGeX doesn't 'look' at individual accounts (randomly, that is). If they get reported they look at them. And if noidea says how do you know again, then I'm gonna be a poopy and not say anything. They don't have the time to look at every account.

Last year I was running my army on a semi-private mining script, and got ~15 of them to 85 mining.

It was so easy and painless that I decided to try throwing my main into the loop with the other 15 accounts. I figured the main would just blend in and I wouldn't have any problems. Instead, my main was banned within 24 hours. Thankfully it was only a temp ban, which expired after 3/7/10 days, don't remember. Same script, same world, same amount of autoing. Banned in less than 1 day, versus never banned for literally months on any of the other accounts.

I've still never had one other account banned since that time. I don't know what to think about it, but I've never autoed on my main since…

You probably just got reported because some narb was mining and was trying to talk and reported you. Just bad timing. :]
