I was looking at his "big form tutorial" and could not believe that he did not get a tutorial writers cup for that yet.

His big form tutorial really makes him deserve one IMO. What do you guys think?

I'm was reading through his big form tutorial, and it goes into such great detail. His other 2 tutorials aren't exactly huge, but they have what is needed.

No from me, I thought cups were meant for a series of achievements, not just one good tutorial and a couple that anyone could of done. Cups signify mastery of that specific area imo and I don't really think he's mastered it…he could be just collecting cups.

so it takes several master pieces to be a master? Cus his tut form is indeed a masterpiece.

Well if you did it runs the risk of people cup collecting. Eg - writing one really good tutorial and then never writing one again once they get the cup. As opposed to giving it for multiple really good tutorials

Thats like me, I wrote a couple big tuts like 2 years ago, haven't written anything since then. But I think if he's taken the time to write that tut then he definately deserves it.

OH, so you'd rather give it to Nauman, who has one or more mistakes in each tut but has written 12*e^999 tuts, than to MK, so wrote one hell of a tut?

what i mean is, it's not about quality or quantity, but rather a mix of how much good it does to the communitty. if you make one hell of a tut, or you make 5 good tuts, probably both deserve the cup. And his tut is like 10 posts long, and for most cases, you could count that as 10 tuts.

I agree that the form tutorial is worth the same as several others combined. I also do see the risk of cup collecting. So how about this? He keeps the tut cup, we wait a while, and if it does turn out that he stops writing tuts once he gets the cup, then he won't get any more cups.

I am not sure that you guys are being very fair. It is hard to find topics to write tutorials on with so many people eager to write them. Back when I wrote all of my tutorials, there were no tuts out on the basic SRL functions (Mouse…etc), TPA's and lots of stuff. Now pretty much all of the bases are covered.

Masterkill already hasn't written a tutorial in quite some time, which is understandable. I got my tutorial writers cup months after writing my last tutorial (I think that it was the learning the things it takes to become a srl member or whatever).

All I'm saying is you can't expect someone to come out with more tuts when almost everything there is to be written about already has been written about. It's like saying someone is cup collecting if they write the SRL wiki then don't write any more SRL wiki's in the future.

I got mine about three months after writing my big one.. =/

I guess I had another big one though as well, just no one ever looks at it xD
