SRL Archive - General

I have the new scar 3.20d and subversion but i can't get Scar to checkout. I have vista with administrative tools. I have tried to use the svn checkout on the srl folder but the URL the tut gives me does not work it says error. I have tried redownloading scar and subversion. I am still not able to do it. Also when i click download Includes it gives me "Error while obtaining the includes list"

Nope. Keeps having an Unknown Identifier Problem. It would also be nice if someone would tell me how I can duel boot my system with XP without the CD becuase i would rather not by a 80 dollar disk

you could run command prompt as admin and cd to your srl folder and so a
"svn checkout url" obviously replacing url with the checkout url.

you can get sun virtual box and tiny xp (or if you have the cd just do that) and just run the scar in the virtualbox

Hmm.. Try reinstalling subversion.. or install Tortoise svn instead.

Install Tortoise svn. It's much better than the current SVN tool. ;)

I have tried SVN as well but i get

i had the exact same problem as you. it took me like 30 mins of searching but i found out its the stupid security features in vista (hate vista). go to run and type in MSCONFIG and run it. click on the tab that says "tools" and look through the list until you find "disable uap". click it and press launch. wait for the cmd window to open and finish what its doing. the restart your computer. it should work then. you can turn uap back on using the same method.

its because your not running your scar as a administrator . close it and go to desktop right click scar and > run as admin and that should hopefully work ;)
