Hi, My name is gannerz and I have just joined
I have some knowledge of c++ and want to get started on scar although the scripts I have seen so far are quite intimidating lol :P

Scar is extremely easy to use and script for once you know the basic's.

Go to the 'Tutorial Island' part of the website and read up on something's including how to set up SRL. I also would help to read Pascal tutorial's as that is what you use to script in Scar.

Good Luck and if you need help #srl on IRC is alway's open :)

Welcome to SRL! The best advice for learning to script is just like NCDS said, go on SRL IRC and ask questions! Enjoy your stay :D

Though SCAR may be intimidating, don't worry. We have plenty of tools that assist you in scripting so that it isn't as difficult as it looks. ;)
