Thought clickmouse was instant?

Ive used this script on my pure:
program New;
var
x,y:integer;
begin
wait(2000);
repeat
GetmousePos(x,y);
ClickMouse(x,y,true);
wait(1);
until(false);
end.

Lol was quite funny made runescape crash for me. So i reloaded and logged in and done again and now my char is still trying to move where i clicked like 10 minutes ago with that script.

I ran it twice for about 5 minutes first time and about 8 minutes the second time.

No ban.

New macro detection, right…

Edit*
mm 1000 clicks a second :o.

From my experience all bans occur immediately following/during an update.

Rofl, you have that wait 2000 outside of the repeat loop :(. You should get banned lol. Funny if you don't.

Update: its been well over 10 hours, still no ban.

?? ^refer to this… it seems logical, sense that is when they update the servers…

Then how come you get banned immediatly when you go on a swearing frenzy?

Runescapian321

Who knows? Has it happened to you personally?

All I know is I've had 4 suicide botters banned. All were not banned until I tried logging on immediately after an update.

Hmm thats odd, guess gotta wait till update see what happens.

And yes ive been banned about 5 minutes after going on a super swearing frenzy at draynor willows.

You will be banned for sure.

Hmm this is strange. I noticed when using lame, it will spam cast on the ducks then logs immediately after it runs out of runes without waiting for the current spell to fully finish. Next time it logs in, it says "You dont have enough runes to cast this spell" above "Welcome to Runescape." A bug in their code I guess lol, wonder if we could abuse it somehow

more like 60 clicks a second…..

I have always believed click/move mouse isn't even detectable.
I made a script solely on move/click mouse, ran it for hours, and still have that account today.
Not to mention I play on a touchscreen computer, which is the exact same thing as MoveMouse.
It would be hard for Jagex to tell a difference.

Hmm never thought of that before, This might be true. clickmouse should be changed to TouchScreenMouse(x,y,1,1,true);

Thanks for posting that, learn something new everyday xD.

We assume it is because 'humans' don't click like that. And JaGeX made us believe they could detect how/where we click and such :)

But like someone said above, with touchscreen PCs, the mouse moves instantly, and clicks instantly also - I think - like MoveMouse and ClickMouse, therefore, we can not fully declare them as 100% bannable.

dont you think that more than one test should be considered. I mean honestly, what if it were just a fluke. Maybe someone else could test this and if you dont get banned then we can start making accusations etc.

But even still, i was clicking the same spot really fast (*Clickmouse*) for long which means jagex doesnt even check mouse clicks?

This then leads to how does Jagex detects macroing. My guess is only failing to do randoms? So time to test the theory, Manually fail all randoms which SCAR cannot solve.

"there comes a time when botting will be impossible to detect"(gower said something like that, cant remember it off the top of my head)

Could possibly mean that, when all randoms are able to solve, they will not be able to detect.Just anonther one of my wacko theories

Ultimate test for both / alot of theories..

Some one should run the script on first post for a long long time. Manually solve the randoms so you dont fail them. After a day or to of this, wait till update to see if your banned.

This will answer alot of questions ( i think)

EDIT:

OK im gonna do this, i posted my blog on this in the botting theory section

It's not only randoms, but also reporting. My main was recently banned right after achieving 99 fletching (not long after 99 woodcutting). A couple days before it got banned I noticed some guy had come up to me in Soul Wars and said 'Bot' (when I noticed that I logged out for some reason -.-), so I'm assuming he reported me. I was solving all randoms seeing as I was autoing in a randomless Soul Wars.

ClickMouse does not use a random wait variable; touch screens do, depending on how long the person's finger is down. And honestly, how many people do you know who actively use a Touchscreen PC?

ClickMouse does not use a random wait variable;

That's not the issue though.
When you touch one point on the screen the mouse jumps to that spot.
It does the same thing as MoveMouse.

I remember that years ago DontPanic had his fighter use clickmouse in several cases, and correct me If I'm wrong, He or someone here at SRL got to 99 str with it.

Lance

2009-07-10 03:40:29

we could test this by makeing a script that solves the randoms purfectly but then purposfuly fails in other areas. such as no randomness, and having other bot like behavior. then putting them in differant areas in runescape (some areas populated meaning it would get reported more, and other areas not populated so it would not get reported) and then just see which ones get banned. If none of the ones in an unpopulated area are banned we could probably safely say that RS uses peoples reports and failed randoms only, and having super good antiban is useless haha

Gu3st...

2009-07-10 22:14:54

I agree with Lance's post ^

We should test JaGeX' system more than we do right now.
Myself I think that 80% of the people banned for macroing is because they have been reported, mainly because they failed to respond when someone was talking.

Awkwardsaw

2009-07-10 22:43:10

i agree with testing, and i also have a few accounts that i can spare if you need.

and as for the responding problem, how about we make some sort of AI that catches what people say, and responces to them. i know it would be a lot of work, but wouldnt that be an awesome responder?

Da 0wner

2009-07-13 18:25:36

There's not much of a difference than a normal auto-responder..
