Understanding the Gold xfer Theory

Okay so I'm kind of puzzled on how exactly to transfer goods from my mule to my "stock" account. Right now I'll just use a fake example so I can better understand it. Sorry for being so misunderstood, but any help would ease the headache I have right now trying to figure this crap out :D

I mined 5000 Iron Ore today, and I need to transfer them over to my "stock" account. How would I go about doing this? Step by step would be much appreciated.

Okay then I guess I'm going to have to turn both accounts into members. What are the P2P methods then?

Most popular widely known method is junk trading at the moment (P2P only). Buy maple logs on your stock account, fletch them into longbows (u) (You can use my fletcher :D), then trade them to your autoer. By fletching, you create about 220k junk per hour, along with LOADS of free fletching exp.

What would be the appropriate number to buy and trade to my main then?

Maple Longbow (u) = 144gp
Iron Ore = 100gp

You have 500k worth of Iron Ore, so you'd need 3473 Maple Longobows (u) to transfer it.

Alright what would the process be of me selling the maple longbows be? I'm trying to figure this out and hopefully will make a guide for dummies like me to complete this successfully. I don't want to mess this up the first time.

So I sell these maple longbows to…? then what after that..?

Maybe a walk through of someone transferring successfully the materials given would be the best and easiest way to better understand it ;)

Just Make the Longbows, and Trade them with your second account againts the gold..

Hmm, so I mine 5,000 Iron ore, I then sell that on the AH and buy Maple Logs, I fletch those logs in longbows and trade them to my main who has what they are equal to in gold..so I'm constantly switching gold to and from both characters…

NO?

Look to add to runescapian.

Maple Longbow (u) = 144gp
Iron Ore = 100gp

You have 500k worth of Iron Ore (or just 500k), so you'd need 3473 Maple Longobows (u) to transfer it. Then you just have to buy 3473 Maple logs which would cost about 156,285 coins. (At 45 gp per log = 156k), Then you just fletch those into longbows. That makes it inflate to the 500k.

You lose 156k per 500k transferred.

Hmm I was using some other crappy junk method before this; this'll probably be a more convenient and beneficial option for me =P.

Also, isn't junk trading within the rules as well?

Ah okay so I take those Iron ore, sell them to purchase the Maple Longbow's…fletch them to meet my amount (lose the money it takes to transfer. In this case the 156k) then trade with my amount (who is trading in cash (500k))?

NO! :p

Macroer : Mines 5,000 ores
Stock : Buys 3473 maple logs
Stock : Fletches the logs into Longbows (u)
* Macroer and Stock swap items *

Nobody buys the maple longbows (u) because they are 'junk'. However, you can sell the iron ores (people buy them, it's not 'junk'). The whole point is that you trade a worthless item for something worth money.

You can slap me now because I just got it…hahahaha

I'm so so sorry guys! You'd think a senior in high school would actually be able to figure out something so simple. I guess I was over analyzing it thinking it couldn't be that easy. You don't know how much this has helped me.

Too bad they both gotta be p2p. Any f2p ideas out there? I don't want to pay for 2 accounts. Only one. My main.

You can string the bows too (you have to cut & string, can't just buy the unstrung bows). You make like an extra 60gp per bow I believe, but you take twice as long of course. It still amounts to about 150k/h.

Oh i forgot maples were f2p too… yay!

You can make far more than 150k on your main just cutting logs or mining ore or something. Why would anyone want to spend an hour getting 150k worth of junk to transfer, when they can just make 150k+ RSGP on their mains?

Face it guys. Runescape has ruined trading. I blame the people over at RSBot and RSCheata.

It's supposed to be a way to make cash while fletching. Though you can also make cash by stringing yew longs, so yeah, you're right, almost pointless :\
