But recent rumor has it that Jagex can detect where the applet is loaded from, so, they would see something else that isnt "Mozilla Firefox"

It can't. The only thing Jagex may detect is what browser you're using by detecting the user agent.

They don't auto intellegently.

Besides, remember when they banned SS and there was the massive riot? When they unbanned SS they said you can use any client that does not alter game play. So they can't ban us for using SMART if they detect it…

For those of you who don't know, SS = Swift Switch, it was a client that allowed you to change worlds quickly.

Actually, any client that doesn't altar the game AND shows the main page on start up AND does not hide ads on f2p.
So yeah, using SMART is against Jagex rules, but not detectable.
