A hacker broke into my hosting company's servers and deleted user data and vps nodes, as a result my sites are currently down but they're working to restore it as soon as possible.

EDIT: The server is back up.

Who's your hosting company? If anybody could break into the servers then i'd have serious doubts about the security or the reliability of them.

They used an exploit in the vps control panel which runs on one of their main servers… The software was fully updated though, so they couldn't help it…
