Just normal Cigarettes. If you do smoke other substances, go for doing it 'socially' because I've only smoked weed a few times with my friends.

Occasional Smoking - Where you smoke frequently, but not every day.
Social Smoking - You only smoke around others, normally other smokers, at Pubs/Bars/NightClubs/Parties, etc.

No! Smoking is realy bad. I hate every type of smoke. Luckily I live outside of the city. (on the corner of it) And I hate when smokers don't care about us(who hate it) and make us a passive smoker. You kill yourself, and it's expensive. Stop smoking if you are doing that!

I smoke cigarettes & hookah :P But have cut down alot, down to only 1/3 a pack a day now from a pack a day. I used to smoke Marlboro at first, then started Belmont & now Benson Black ftw! I've only smoked for around like 1 & 1/2 year about. My whole mom's & dad's side of family smokes besides women.

Pretty much my whole family does on my dads side. Only one in my household of 5 who doesn't is my Mother.

Never have, never plan to. I've been educated to hate it, so therefore don't.

And my mum used to, then gave up because my dad would only marry her if she quit.

I never smoked, maybe once, but my mom smokes inside the house. She is crazy IRL, and a bitch to not smoke outside.

Haha xD Anyway, I've never smoked. I've been around people smoking cigarettes and pot, but I haven't found it very appealing to me. I don't think there's anything wrong with people who smoke though. It's there choice. :]

meh i smoke maybe twice a month with people, more just depends on circumstances. I prefer cigars, but I've had a few cigarettes when nothing else is available.

Well, once I reach 80, I think I'll die of old age before dieing as a result of the smoking. And anyway, I still have a long while to decide what I am really going to do. :D

There is no actual proof of the dangers of "second hand smoking", btw.

I smoke, but thought of quitting.. I'm just not motivated enough, as "preserving" the golden years of watching matlock 24/7, not remembering anything and shitting all over yourself really doesn't motivate me much. And yeah "it costs money bawwww", I can afford it, and you're just as likely to get hit by a car than to get cancer from smoking (PROTIP: You can get cancer from about everything).

AMGZ. I've been smoking Pall Mall lately, but the taylors. Im not the best roller in the world, but I cant roll with blue or red for my life. I use greens. Cheapest pack of 20 superkings you can get, though.

I've quit before, but I just end up starting again anyways. I can afford it, too.

Well, I'm 19, living in a former part of the USSR(Communists are the same as Nazis or even worse!). You guessed right I SMOKE. I can't even recall when I started, but I'm quite sure it was way before my 14th birthday as that party was MAD, including lots of cigarettes and booze. What I smoke? Well, I used to smoke Red Marlboro but rolling my own now. Can't resist teh MacBaren tobaccos and Zigzag flavoured papers :p
I occasionally smoke brands such as Marlboro, Kent and Camel. No problem affording it…

no, I do not 'smoke' what would be branded as cigarettes. But I went out with some friends and we went to a hookah lounge. Not fancy, but a really relaxed, sociable, awesome staffed, and comfortable place. It was really great, and I would go again. I was mostly curious as to whom here might smoke hookah also. =] Oh, and if you do, what 'flavor' do you use/like?

I enjoy a nice cigar occasionally, I also partake in the smoking of a tobacco pipe occasionally.
In the previous sentence I define "occasionally" as 4-5 times a year.
In the previous sentence I define "times" as 1 cigar, or 1 packed pipe.

I did smoke, but not anymore.

I smoke Marijuana occasionally. occasionally is 2-4 times a month. If anything it is a social event, I do it sometimes when I am at a party or with a group of friends. Never alone.

I have never smoked a cigarette, and I never will.

As for cigars, I enjoy one once every 1-2 months or so. Never more. Just to relax with a friend or two.

I, for the most part, smoke socially. I will occasionally smoke alone, but not often at all, so I voted for social. But I am with people smoking everyday :p, but when I'm not with people, I'm not usually smoking.

I smoke weed damn near every day, but never alone, i don"t think its fun unless your with other people.

I smoke weed pretty often, for medical reasons.. Hardly ever socially, unless I'm at a party. No tobacco for me, because I don't want cancer.

The amount of marijuana in a bowl or two is significantly less than a cigarette. A marijuana smoker would smoke far less marijuana than a tobacco smoker..
There are some people who smoke more than a pack of cigarettes a day and some people that smoke like 4-7 joints or whatever a day.
But anyways, if you don't want to smoke, don't. If you do, do. Don't turn this into another weed argument thread.

Smoked twenty years of my life. Recently stopped. Though I have always been a happy smoker it is the most stupid habit I have ever had. It doesnt give you anything and is very unhealthy, duh.

I tried it out of curiosity, enjoyed it, but would never do it regularly.

I started with the occasional cigar… then smoked weed just about every day last summer. Needless to say that I'm on probation and can't smoke weed. So I started smoking cigs. Oh and I also smoke hookah. Its mostly on the weekends when I hang with my buddies. I can't smoke weed, can't drink so cigs and hookah are all i got right now haha.

But yeah cigs really arent worth it though. After awhile i lost the nicotine buzz so its just the habit of putting smoke into my lungs… really not getting anything out of it so I've cut it down a lot. Need to get my tolerance down a bit before I can enjoy them like i used to.

Smoking is stupid. You're paying to shorten your lifespan and hurt yourself imo. Just doesn't make sense to me..

It's still dumb. Why do something that you know has such harmful effects and doesn't offer any benefits? It's just not worth it at all.

It's addictive. And when you start, it gives you something to do. You think I don't know its dumb? I don't have the will power to quit, I have tried. I regret starting, but I can't stop.

You do have the will power to quit, it's the fact that you're telling yourself that you do not. Therefore you truly don't want to quit and have not actually worked out steps/a method to quit that works for you. Obviously cold turkey isn't the best step but there are measures you could be taking to at least reduce the amount that you smoke and eventually ween yourself off nicotine.

It's not hard, you just have actually want to quit.

It's easy enough to say that when you don't smoke, but I take your point. In reality, it is a lot harder to quit then you would think. People don't understand this when they don't smoke regularly, but its true.

You just actually have to want it and the fact that you're telling yourself that you can't do it speaks to itself. It's all mental. If you think you can't do it, you won't.

I have told myself, for sport, for girlfriends, for parents. I just end up doing it again. :|

I can say its easy, i smoked for over a year and stopped. Just like that.

I actually used to "smoke" as a kid, around middle school, which is like age 11-14, and younger.

My older sister got me started, and I thought it was "cool" (most immediate family are smokers). I would take snipes from ash trays and smoke those and steal the occasional cigarette from either of my parents.

I never did it often enough to become physically dependent….then I grew up and realized it was stupid.

Now I just do the occasional smoke as I said before, which of course everyone knows you don't inhale pipes or cigars (traditionally), but I still get a little buzz through my gums, and of course am still susceptible to oral cancer.

I smoke Marlboro Smooths, they actually have a nice smoke to them. I don't do it regularly, only when I'm stressed or just feel the urge. I can stop whenever I want, I'm not addicted. I smoke weed, have been for about a year or more. I just bought a new pack the other day and only smoked three.

I absolutely LOVE hookah! It's so relaxing :)

Out of curiosity, for the people who do not agree with smoking - what are your opinions concerning alcohol?

I think smoking tobacco and drinking alcohol is bad. As are many other drugs (LSD is fine by me, and so are shrooms). But weed is fine. :3

drinking alcohol to get drunk disgusts me.
I do enjoy the flavors of many alcoholic beverages (I never drank underaged though), but I've never been drunk, just a few drinks, over an hour a so, for the taste.

I enjoy smoking (marijuana), but I hate drinking.
Probably after experimenting with alcohol like a month ago and getting very drunk (.23 BAC if I recall correctly) is the cause of my opinion. I was very foolish and have learned since then. By the way, to get that drunk I drank a whole bottle of Jack Daniel's. It was the smaller version however, not the big one.

Alcohol is fine, as long as you don't drink for the sole purpose of getting drunk. I drink to have a good time at a party or whatever, but I'm normally the only reasonable sober one left. Still, people leave cigarettes and money and stuff when they leave so you know…
