Yes, but its mainly based on attitude. Me and him are working on a script together, and I must say, I seem to be doing most of the work. But SSRL seems to be mainly attitude now.

I have considered Torrent of Flame for SSRL before, but I am strongly leaning towards a no right now. Mainly because I think Shuttleu is at least four times as worthy of getting in as him, but he had a 7-8 vote count.

What has Torrent of Flame done recently? Idk, looking at his most recent 25 posts or so, I only see 1 or 2 semi-helpful posts in there. He doesn't script really, and not that he seems immature, but majority of his posts are in off topic threads. Sorry to compare this thread to Shuttleu's, but yeah. Many of you guys say on threads "Idk… He just doesn't.. Stand out. No.". Where does ToF stand out other than posting in off topic threads and congratulating other people for their accomplishments? One of the posts in his last 25 was just:

And nothing else. IMO at least 90% of his current posts are almost completely useless.

So someone has a personality and they get in here? I'm sorry, but a personality just shouldn't be enough to get in here. I could go find someone on the street right now with a good personality and we wouldn't let them in here. Obviously that is an unfair comparison, because he has been here a long time too, but I just don't see what he has done recently that makes him any better than the other SRL members. You guys said he is mature too, which I am not going to try to argue, but looking at his recent posts makes me really think otherwise.

This doesn't exactly look like SSRL material to me. 3 posts out of 25 were SCAR related, all in his ClickColor function thread. So you say a few things about Boxxy, talk about how smoking is bad/good for you, and celebrate your 2k "posts" and this shows extreme personality/maturity? To me it just seems completely irrelevant to the forums.

He has done quite a bit, I'm sure if you could see his contributions to the wiki it must have been significant.

Anyways, as that even says, he isn't the best scripter, his PowerCutter is good, nothing amazing, but good.

I think his response to my warning shows more maturity than any of his posts. He acknowledged what he did, apologized and actually followed through with what he said he would!

Finally, I can't change your opinion, just saying my thoughts. :)

Not deserving a warning in the first place is better than deserving one and responding well to it. I am not asking you to change my opinion, but I just am not seeing anything relevant from him other than helping write the wiki.

Pros:

-Helped write the wiki.

-Good personality if you talk to him 1 on 1.

-been here a long time

Cons:

-Very very few useful posts. Almost all are off topic of anything related to the forum. Even Da 0wner, The Man, and Harry make more posts related to something to the forums.

-Nothing amazing from scripting.

-Recently, hasn't helped really anyone out on the forums, has not written any tutorials/scripts, and his recent posts show a neutral level of maturity.

Good is good enough for SSRL IMO. He has to be great scripting and all IMO. If he is an average/decent scripter he shouldn't get SSRL.

There was a joke in the original post, that is why I voted no. Sorry if I was not clear.

TBH I haven't seen anything from him that makes him SSRL worthy in my eyes. I haven't seen much scripting ability from him and I don't see him helping much with his posts. His posts are more or less just random spam/fun. No from me.

I don't like his attitude after watching him on IRC and reading his posts. I'm voting no also.

Then why do people always say on these apps that they shouldn't get in because they don't stand out enough? ToF hardly stands out at all unless you spend all your time in off topic threads. You don't stand out by just being a nice guy, you have to do something to help the forums to stand out. Not saying you've used that as a reason before, but many people use that as their reason to vote no.
