Please bear in mind this is from memory from the exam, so some bits are probably missing..
Now, I wrote this story for my GCSE exam. The question was 'Describe a Car, Plane, Train or Bus journey', so I took a nice depressive spin on it. It didnt actually pan out as such, but I was just writing away, then looked back at the end and thought.. 'shit, I've made a story about an autistic, scitzophrenic, bi-polar child who may have killed his mother'
Now I had no time to edit the story, so I had to hand it in as such. The main jist of the story is that the protaganist and his father are on the way to a funeral home or hospital, I assume, to say goodbye to the mother who has died, but we don't know why, but it is hinted that the protaganist was the one who killed him. The whole 'Red Light' thing is him stopping at the traffic lights, followed by 'Green Light' which is the traffic lights turning Green again.
I've never seen a sheep so fluffy. It was like Candy-Floss with legs. I couldn't even imagine something like that in my dreams.
Oh dear. Now Dads looking at me wierd. That or he's tired. Not sure which. No, he's definately puzzled at what I am thinking. Now he's looking even more puzzled because I'm looking puzzled at him looking puzzled. Now hes lo.. Red Light.
Do you think that Green man ever gets tired? I mean, his legs are always outstrectched. That would tire me out. I think he sleeps when the light goes off. Like the sun going down. I allow myself a little smile and turn on the radio. Amber. Green Light.

We turned off, that sucks. I was enjoying that light. Dad doesnt let me go to parties. My dad wont let me get a dog. Says I'm not responsible enough or something stupid like that. I mean, I went once and was alright so I don't see why he doesnt let me go again he's so damn controlling and damn untrusting and he just makes me so damn mad and so damn ang.. Red Light.
Why isnt there an Amber man? Like a 'you can almost cross' light. He would have one leg outstretched but not the other. That would be awsome, I would love that. Amber (man). Red man. Green Light.
I hope Mums ok. She hasnt called which is wierd. I dont see why dad doesn't let me see her. I mean, he says I'm not responsible enough to cope with her being ill, but I was alright when dad got ill. Why doesnt he damn trust me he is so damn controlling and it really annoys me and he thinks its for the better but im damn ok as it is its so damn irritating it just makes me so damn mad and so damn angry and I want to find something to hur.. Dad leans over and tells me we are saying bye to mum for the final time. I dont want to know what he mean… no. This is why no dogs, no parties, no seeing mum.
No. Turn on the car and drive dad. I dont want this.. he turns the radio off. NO! I want countryside and candy-floss sheep and moo-n rock cows. no. This is why.. I'm not responsible..
