Hey guys,
Got a tiny question concerning reflection…
Is it possible to get some type of ID for "items" located in the chat window?
Example:


Now, a general question: Is there a some kind of text in which functions like: SmartGetFieldInt are listed and explained? I'd be interested in developing some reflection functions, but at the moment, I am only able to use, not create, and I don't know how to go about learning those things, except from looking through the includes… :S

Hmm, so you're working on a fletcher not a fighting script?

I don't think that its possible to do this, but it may be. Have you tried to RSBot debugger?

If it doesn't work, I made a fletching function that supports all bows, look in the skills SVN.

alright, thanks, I'll look for the debugger then… (didn't even know that existed… have never been on rsbot… got all my IDs through scar… hell of a work… xD)

Remember, Color is faster then Reflection.

So if it can be done easier in Color, then do it that way.

Anyway, thanks for the fast answers. I guess I will have to rely upon one line of color: "GetColor"… there goes my dream of a 100% ref script xD

The information for each bow is probably found in one of the model fields of each of those interfaces. I'm not sure which interface that is (you'll have to figure it out), but try debugging it with RSBot or KBot (which has a better debug for interfaces).

Also, don't feel compelled to use only reflection or only color because of what people say or what claims they make about either of them. Experiment with both if you're interested in both and decide for yourself.
