Yay, I got my old timer cup today. So yes, I own you guys a story I guess.
How did I started, 2 years ago
Well, in the first stage I got some scripts from here. Wizzup?'s essence miner and pentti's multi miner. I used those for about a month. I really liked how scar was working and I got interested in it's functions, so I started learning.
My first script
The first real script I made, was a bone pick and bury script. I loved to make it and it worked awesome. I also liked to work with WriteLn(''); and give the users of my script a nice debug.
Iron mine and banker
I used pentti's multi miner a lot, for the varrock east bank. I was like; how awesome would it be to make one myself. So I did, and with succes. When I posted the script on srl a lot of people started to use it. I kept learning and updating the script, for about one and a half year. I think it has been used for 3 years in the end :)
My iron miner also brings me to my srl members apply. Wish you can find here. Oh and my grammar really sucked back then…. :p
Thanks to my iron miner I also got my "SRL Master" cup, wish I'm really proud of ;)
Pest Controller
After the succes of my Iron miner, I also made a pest control script. Worked like a charm. Quite a lot people used it, and I remember it was sort of a fight with hy, NO USE MY CAVER, NO USE MY PC SCRIPT! All fun btw ;)
The last half year
So yes, I passed high school, and the real IT school was starting for me. Amazing how much I learned from scar. With the programming project it was and is easy for me to switch from scar to another scripting language.
I also made my own clan website, wish I really like to do. Creating my own webstyle and code it.
Me and SCAR today
jeh, I like reflection, some times when I'm bored I make a small script for one of my pure accounts. not like big project anymore, but it's not that I don't do anything with it anymore ;)
