sorry but i am curious how many of you have actually gotten their main ban for autoing on a noob or gotten ip ban post back please :norris:

EDIT: anyway seeing as that question has been answered then im going to ask this one how long have u guys ever gone with an account before it being ban?

RuneScape does not issue IP bans.

They wont ever ban ure main for other account autoing. Idk about flagging it tho

see i keep telling my friend they dont ip ban and if you dont auto on your main theres no way for it to get ban for autoing thanks guys :)

Some people may never be caught autoing. Others, might. You really can't use time as your guide as to how long you'll keep your account. But i've been botting 5hrs a day and haven't been banned.

This is correct, I bot 24/7 but I use 40 characters…

yup i do the same i always have smart going i only have 20 characters though
i just wanted to double check with the community on the matter of IP banning or getting their mains ban because i am trying to get my friend to auto but he wont…

so yes they do do it
that was about a year ago so they might have stopped it now

I"ve never seen something like an IP ban. I've heard that there were a few a while back, but I've had a few autoer accounts banned but never my main. However, I've found that after a year at SRL, you really begin to see how useless that "main" bunch a pixels really is. You can always form a new "main" auto it to where your old one was and then have it all over again. Accounts on runescape are just bunches of 0's and 1's representing letters and numbers in a database which Jagex tells you to toil your life away to change. Just my two cents.

I've autoed on my army of level 3's with crappy names a lot, with non-SRL scripts (all were > 30 lines of code).
My friend also got most of them banned by auto talking for hours saying @SS.

My main has not even 1 black mark.
(he also got an IP ban)

dude dont auto on level 3's auto correctly it dosn't take long to just set up forefeathers or something for 2 or 3 nights, trust me it will get you a lot farther than just autoing on lvl 3s

Back in '07 my main was banned for transferring macroed goods (strangely enough the autoers didn't get banned >_<). Though I got it unbanned through the Account Review Thread for a Last Chance and the recent offense updates removed the offense altogether :D

Anyway, I auto about 10 hours a day (on a different main now :p) now. Been doing so for about a month at least, no ban.

lvl 106 with all lvls over 52 (meh had no life till a year ago) isn't easy to re-get. Some script are not available. And I don't wanna pay to auto.

Wasnt an IP ban but I've had 2 mains banned for trading autoed goods to them, along with ~3 other semi mains. And another main banned for macroing. Good news is, all mains got unbanned a few months ago on a last chance, and when the new appeal system came in they went to green zone :)

I've been autoing since 9-04-2008. Haven't had a ban yet and I only have my p2p main. Yea I know stupid but I'm a smart autoer. <–Ironic isn't it?

I have been playing Runescape since classic, I even did some of the testing for DeviousMUD, the forerunner to classic >.< and I have auto'd all the way to lvl 129.
No bans.. Not even a blackmark..

if you are going to auto do it correctly and you wont get banned.
