Well, I don't know him personally, but he seems like a good guy to me.

-He has been here a long time (over 2 years).

-Like Iron Man, he doesn't seem like an attention whore like some srl members (useful posters cup)

-He has written some good tutorials.

-He is very active (I always see him online)

-He seems to be very mature as well, and I think that he could have some very good input on the decisions we make here in SSRL.


Both Griff and Iron Man I have been thinking about nominating for some time now, that's why I'm nominating 2 people at once.

Anyone see any side of him I haven't or have any other reasons that he shouldn't be let in here?

I don't know. He hasn't really stood out to me, and looking at his recent posts, at least three of them show him backseat moderating.

I see what you mean, but it's not that bad I don't think. A lot of members go like "omg!! Fricken idiot, don't gravedig!". He's at least just being polite and telling them not to do something that's against the rules.

@Smartzkid, SSRL isn't about scripting as much as it used to be. It has to do more with maturity and being able to make staff-like decisions more then create scripts. It's turned into a place between SRL member and Staff more than SRL member and developer as far as I know.

Whats wrong with just reporting the thread, no need to post to assert authority he doesnt have. No from me.

He's not ready to be let in here yet. Maybe if we see some good scripts from him in the future we can reconsider.
