Is there any way to manually update the reflection hooks? I know a 1-2 day wait isn't that big of a deal but it'd still be nice if we could continue autoing/scripting without that break :)

True. Time zones might affect your point of view though, like if he updates it at night I only notice it's there the next morning/afternoon :p

I don't get what you and Method mean by the link :\ All I see are the current hooks?

*Sigh* I hardly understand a word of what they're saying there :\ Maybe that's something I can learn when I have some time :)

As for it begin a third of my autoing time lost, 2 days is a rarity, usually it's one day max (15%), and the fact that reflection (or rather, reflection with bits of color) scripts are, in general, more efficient and more bug-free, so that makes up for it :)

If you want to learn about client hacking and building your own updater, I'd be happy to answer questions you might have over MSN or on IRC (if anyone else wants to learn, feel free to contact me also).

Also, that was the point of my link. If you don't know anything about the game's client, it would be extremely difficult for you to update the hooks on your own.

shuttleu, do you know java? I looked at his tut without knowing java and didn't understand it at all, so I had to back up a step and learn a little bit of java first. If you don't know java I found a good site that'll show you some real basic stuff, I already knew the logic behind it, I just didn't know how to write it out in Java (the stuff from I learned from the Java site).
