hey guys , why am i not able to have a .gif avatar???
i have a awsome 1 of Joker lol , really want it.

i see some other people have .gif avatars

gifs are not just supposed to be just for animation you know.

And you can not use animations as avatars without a hack for vBulletin I believe.

You probably need a certain cup to get an animated avatar.

Oh, yes I believe that it is because of the size limit.
If you have bigger one it has to scale it down :p.

It's because of size. Like for me, I noticed some animated avatars work and some don't when switching my avatar yesterday (bigger ones tended not to work) :)

I wanted to get an animated avvy, but ones I found we either over 19.5kb, or over 50x50, so now I've got this excuse of an avvy. ;)

Fail … seriously, mirror a file instead of hotlinking :/

Also, N1ke must have had someone upload his avvy for him, as it is much too big for a user-set avatar, and also much too wide.
