So I just installed ubuntu, and its great.
What are some good apps to have? Can anyone link me to a guide on how this thing works? :p

Uhm, minesweeper is hawt. And it's music player AmaroK is t3h s3x. To install them, go to the packet manager.

Don't install AmaroK. It will install most KDE libs, just for AmaroK.
If you want AmaroK, install Kubuntu. If you use Ubuntu, just use Rhythmbox.

sudo apt-get install pornview
It has a strange name, but it is good for viewing image collections :rolleyes:
