Infractions - once again

okay guys, i don't feel like writting a long post, so i'll just make it to the point.

Before you give an infraction, check the user. If a user is "suspended" then he already received the JM infraction, and therefore does not need a second one.

If there's a little red box on the bottom left (like the one on Jason's sig) then the user was already infracted for that post.

It's easy to check no?

I just posted this, cus i've been having to look out for double infractions as they've been happening too often to let go by unnoticed. If you don't feel like wasting an extra minute to check, then just don't infract.

So please, we as moderators already have quite a load of work, especially as we are approaching the end of school/uni year and exams are coming up, so please, just check before you infract :)

A few months ago you pm'd me about doing this once RM. The reason I did it then was because it said Hobbit infracted the guy in like june of 09, which hasn't happened yet. It was a profile infraction so I didn't think it was to that specific post, but I guess it was (don't remember what it was about).

My point is, some people may be doing this because the date thing is messed up on the infractions received thing. To avoid this problem people should make sure to give infractions on specific posts (to show the red box) instead of profile infractions when possible.
