Peace within War

Peace within war will never exist for peace in a manner of wartime cannot coincide. Bloodshed is the common nature when disputes go unsettled for it is the driving force that lands the final blow. It has sparked two world wars and possibly a third. It has sparked terror both foreign and domestic to claim innocent lives of the young and the old. It has turned brother against brother but has brought a nation together. The bloodshed of war has flowed freely in order to protect. It has kept us free at times of despair but when will the day cease the use of bloodshed? At what price has one paid in order to be free? At what cost does the freedom hold true? It cannot go unjust that everyday men whom have only just gained their manhood have laid before the hand of God and the bullets rain like bloody mist. Everyday Lover's mourn the loss of another and every day mothers hearts stop as the hear the worst news, their son or daughter have been claimed by the bloodshed. Everyday you will hear the same news and everyday that passes it continues to cause havoc. When all the bombs fall and nuclear tests are finished Mother Nature weeps as she is slowly destroyed. The people want peace but the leaders want war. Like the protesters at Kent State as four lay dead, 68 shots riddled the lot. There can be no peace as the oppressors keep on, the fear of war floods the mind of every great one. Bob Dylan once sang Masters of War but I guess some people failed to listen. As terror streaked through out London; As terror streaked through New York, i guess it comes down to who will survive or maybe it seems as though death is disguised. Maybe the tree huggers will cease to exist as Agent Orange is dropped about. Maybe war it slowly die and instead peaceful negotiations will over run the land. Maybe JFK was shot and killed for he was a threat to the man on the hill. Lee Harvey Oswald took to his grave the truth surrounding the mystery that day. I guess there cannot be a peaceful ending for all but maybe some day a hard rains a gonna fall.

Comment if you would like. Any oppositions you may have I would like to hear and possibly discuss.

The people want peace but the leaders want war

So true. It's been proven that war can help a nation economically, but is it worth all the bloodshed for a nation's economy to survive?

In the present age are we even fighting for our freedom? Or are we fighting for special interests?

On a related subject, isn't Obama is proposing a mandatory military serve time for minors? Why would I risk my life for a country who's Constitution is being repetedly violated? If it comes down to it I'm moving to Canada. Simple as that. I can only wonder at what my kinds are going to be forced to do.
