You better hope that your teeth aren't ankylosed like mine are. Because then getting braces would be completely pointless.

I got braces also I think 4/5 months left max, believe me after a few months you won't feel it any more you will sometimes forget you have one and probably won't notice it until you see your appointment with the dentist.

No. It just means my teeth are fused to my jaw and won't move, so the braces were just a painful waste of time and money.

Braces aren't bad, once you get used to them. If someone laughs at you over them (and they aren't kidding around), smack them and walk away ^.^.

Don't worry about it now…it's a little too late for that.

Also don't count on your removal date. It almost never is what they say it is. I had to go an extra few months and I know people who have had to go up to a year extra.

I also wouldn't expect a good time when you get your braces off. Sure you have nice shiny smooth teeth and all, but they glue a wire on the back of your teeth. This causes your tongue to bleed almost constantly for about 3 days. Then you have to wear a retainer for the rest of your life…unless you don't care, like me.

Braces = Trap

Herpst Appliance = Hell

Never get the Herpst appliance (for overbite). I screws you over really bad by disabling your ability to move your jaw backwards. Google it if you want details.

I never wanted to have braces as a child, i though they would make me ugly. Now that im 17 i took the desition to put them on, cause i now realize that they wont make me ugly or something. i've had them for almost a year and still no one made fun of me, and i get more girls than ever so. its ok for me.
