Conclusive proof that Dr Who will Die

So to simplify this we will rely on 3 constants:
The universe is finite - It is expanding therefore it is finite
Time is infinite - Time wont just stop any time soon
The doctor would live forever - He wont just die of old age

So. Assuming the universe is finite, therefore there are a finite number of points in space in it. Just like a box. This space is filled with general crap, like planets, stars and things like that. Now normally this is fine, people live for a finite time and die. No problem there.

But the moment you introduce a time-traveling never-aging doctor then things go a bit wrong. To put this simply, the doctor can travel from the start of the universe to the end, and back again. Therefore given enough time, he will occupy every point in time and space in our universe.

To make it easier to understand, imagine that Dr Who could only time travel when the universe was about to end. So assuming he started at the start of the universe he would occupy space in the universe from the start of the universe to the end. Wherever he is you can find him, he exists. So when the universe ends he travels back to the start again. Now throughout time there are two blue police boxes floating around throughout the univserses time span. Now if you repeat this enough times the universe would be full of police boxes. Because it isn't, he must die.

Simple!

Why fuck up the fun I have from watching it..?
Why can't people accept "The series says he lives for ever so he DOES"?

It's up to all the sad nerds to have their rights -.-

There are a few flaws to your argument.

If Time is infinite, time doesn't have a begining or an end and as a result even if the current universe does end, then there must be something after it. Dr who being a time lord should be able to travel through the infinite realms of time regardless of which universe he occupies.

The universe is also currently expanding creating new bits of the universe that didn't exist in a previous time.

Multiply an infinite number by a finite number and you have an infinite number.

You are also disregarding the infinite number of other alternate dimensions. As we know from previous stories Dr Who has travelled from one dimension to another on a number of occasions It would be highly probable that this happens fairly frequently, thus negating your theory.

and finally. The Doctor is not invincible! It was never a part of the plot that he would/could never die? (unlike captain Jack Harkness) After all he is only supposed to regenerate twelve times before permanently dying (total of thirteen incarnations) although they have already figured out script wise how to get round that limitation.

we already knew he would die.
Time lords have a limited number of regenerations, after which they die.

Oh, Dr. Who.

I only clicked this cause I thought you meant Dr. Phil.

Dude, Dr. Who won't live forever anyway. He only has like 12 regenerations or something.
