Concerning gravedigging.
Have the thread AUTOMATICALLY locked after a month(or other set time).
b. Or when people post stuff in a necro'ed thread, the site doesn't bump the thread up.
c. If someone really wants to resurrect a thread they can choose an option to do so? with their post?
d. The thread owner can bump up the thread if they edit their first post/update something.(don't know
if this already happens).

I think it would cut down on the load.. e.g. moderator locking a thread
because it was gravedug.

Gravedigging isn't really that monstrous of a problem. Every once in a while someone bumps a really old thread. It's a very little bit annoying, they get infracted, and the thread gets closed.

Yeah, it's not really that big of a problem, and when someone gravedigs a topic for a legit reason then they can't :S

1. Member gravedigs a thread with spam and selects a "Bump" option.
2. Mod views it and or it gets reported, it gets closed and member gets infracted.

Gravedigs can be done for legit reasons. E.g Fakawi posted SRL's 3rd year running, the thread he did it on was the first one made (members).

What about archived tutorials? These tutorials might need to be accessed, what if noone was posting in them? Then they would be deleted or locked, that is no good!

Cut em2 it

What's wrong with gravedigging tutorials, they are useful and still teach something, unless their content gets out of date.
