I had to go through that nonsense. I had to take classes for 8 f*cking years before I got confirmed. And yet somehow I still remain parallel from my faith.

8 years? I only had to do 2. And the whole process was pretty cool.

Of course, I really liked the people in charge of Confirmation where I live, as well as the people who were getting Confirmed along side me.

It's a Finnish tradition, it means nothing to nobody… No offence to you if you're into religion and shit, but I'm not… Also, I wasn't forced by my parents, my mother doesn't believe in god, I could have decided to go to a prometeus camp, but I went to the god camp because all my friends do, because it's a tradition.
