This is all quoted by him, I won't put in tags since its annoying to read:
Hey,
I know i'm not an active member here or a great contributor but I am hoping for that to change with an idea I have, but I am curious as to it is even allowed/accepted in this community and what your opinions on it are since you seem to be a highly respected figure around here.
The idea is based around protecting scripters from:
+ Script leaking (Sharing Members scripts with Juniors or uploading to different site)
+ Script theft (user claiming a script as their own, or stealing procedures/functions without permission)
The idea is a program where the user(creator of script) loads their script into the program, followed by setting the options which include:
After the options are set they hit compile and their script is saved into 1 solid exe. Of course during compiling my program will check if the script has any harmful coding (eg: sending information to a website) and if it does it will stop it. But after compiled the single EXE can be distributed to anyone who already has SCAR and SRL installed.
How does it work?
The single EXE Upon launching will extract the script into a unknown directory (example: C:\Windows\System32\Scar\Scripts\Demo.scar), then after extraction it will launch scar hidden and then send a command to scar to launch the script [Scripts will require smart and the Smart set target command so the user wont have to drag crosshair] so it will seem like the script is being ran from 1 EXE and this will also protect the script developer from having their script leaked / stolen / edited / ect. Upon closing SMART the script will be deleted so it cant be opened later unless relaunched through EXE.
What about protection?
If when selecting the options the user selects the options:
So what do you think? Good idea? Worthless? I would like some feedback please so I can decide whether to put it in motion or not…
So, my view on this.
Good idea, too hard to implement, asking for issues? Just posting this here out of curiosity to your opinions. :)
