SRL Archive - Help and Support

hey guys i just found out that SRL rev 32 was out and i wanted to download it

i have SVN 1.4.5 installed and i just tried to normally update my rev to 32 when this error came up



the black screen did come up but it just dissapered before it started downloading anything….

any help appreciated

and yes i searched it up and found some similar errors but i tried those methods to fix it and they all failed…

it used to work soo nicely!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be rude, but c'mon… I mean I have a .bat SRL installer right in the general forum =x

You guys don't need to be so rude about it… If it's that much of an inconvenience to you to help somebody out, then don't help them out and don't post. Takes a second of your time to click the back button…

That was added after the fact.. and just reading the basic SRL 32 release page would have given him the low down on how to install.. or just reading any of the other plethora of threads about the subject would have gotten him the answers he needed.

Folk should be encouraged to read a few threads and learn to use the search button instead of taking the lazy option and getting someone else to do it for you.

the Search facility is the most important tool out there. Without it the t'internet would not be anywhere near as usefull as it is. Learn to use it properly and you will grow learn and thrive. Ignore it at your peril!

He should have searched more thoroughly, I agree.

A nice helpful way say it: "Here's a link to a thread that should help you. Next time you should really try using the search button."

A mean, unhelpful way of saying it: "what the ****? At least do a basic search!!" making the person feel like an idiot.


A little niceness never hurts, even if you feel the person is an idiot… That's all I was saying.

It was a quick response to a lazy question. I could have done his job for him as Wizzup? kindly chose to. However at the time I didn't a) have the time to hunt out one of the many links for him or b) have the inclination to reward him for his lazyness and teach him he doesn't have to try.

I do try to be helpful as often as I can, I do however take exception to some posts, this was one of them. :f:
