Because it is listed as a .png, and you must be using a fail browser that just looks at the extension, rather than the Mime-info. It should be .gif though.

Fixes: Get onto Firefox. If that does not help, clear your cache, and manually load http://www.villavu.com/forum/images/ranks/donator.png

Or wait for :norris:Wizzup:norris: to rename it.

Edit, Wizzup fixed it now, should work on fail browsers.

For example, i donate most of my made cash from sold scripts to SRL…

If you only donate here to get a reward, you don't deserve to be here.

If there is a reward for doing something, it makes you want to do that something. Getting the cup is a reward for donating, so you donate to get the reward.

That is a totally different scenario. Those two cases can not be compared.

very similar actually, there are rewards for each scenario and things you have to do in each.
For cancer, you have to put in the time and man power to come up with the cure, and the reward is being famous, and probably rich.
for the cup, you have to put in some money, and the reward is the cup.

Just because is sounds great to say "I didn't do it for the reward" doesn't make it better than doing it for the reward. SRL still gets money even someone donated for the sole reason of getting the cup. Why does it matter to you what anyone else has for motives?

I guarantee as soon as they made this cup every lazy little fat kid that wont just take the time to learn to script, begged there mom to let them donate so they could have one too.

I think it was a better system when it just said "Site Supporter" instead of being a cup.

When people have cups it (theoretically) earns them respect. This could easily be seen as paying for respect/rank?

My Opinion anyways.

I think thats better though, so SRL gets more money to pay for hosting, so it benefits all of us.

And people won't respect them if loads of people buy there way in.
