If a underage(Minor) uses google adsense(Advertisements on a site) under there parents name? And the second question is do people do it?

I'm not sure what the worst that could happen would be, since parents assume responsibility for their childrens' actions while the children are still minors, but I'd be willing to bet that at least some children do this.

*an underage
*their parent's

The answer is, that when you do it, your parents basically have total control over your money in your AdSense account now. If they wanted to take it out, shut down your account, or anything, they have all legal right to do so. Also, if you do not get their permission, that is illegal. All you must do is have them setup the account, then you can proceed to post up your ads, and now you are "legal" with it.

I did this setup, it worked fine. But my account got quickly shutdown due to ad fraud, too much clicking :p

So if i tell my parents,( i sign up, because srsly, they r computer challenged ) and i sign up , and they give me the money its legal?

+ How do they determine if its ad fraud, what if its a high traffic website?

if you sign up, but your parents say you can use their name.. i feel its fine. im not sure on the law though. if they cash in the money, i see no fraund been acted. and they then give you the money, no crime there either.

If you have their permission to make the account (AdSense does require Address, Phone number, and Tax-ID verification (your parents must fill out these forms to have the money sent)), then yes, it is legal.

Google's system to determine if something is fraud is unique. No one knows exactly how it works. But, if you follow these 3 steps, you should be safe:
1) Do not ever click your own ads.
2) Block the ads on your site if you are the majority of the traffic going to the site.
3) Do not EVER make something say "click ads", "disable adblock", "support the site", etc.

Im guessing the revenue will be generated by you clicking the add's, which they trace and ban you for. They will ask you for tax-ID before any funds are sent, you lie about that and the funds wont process anyway. If you arnt clicking them trust me the add buisness isnt paying well at the moment, so money will be slow and possibly not even worth while depending where your placing them.

The funds would be legally whoevers name they are signed under, and if anyone but your parents name was used then it would become quite seriouse if anything happened.

My advice to you is skip google ad's and get something that pays directly into a paypal account, which a minimun ammount of around £10 so that you dont have to wait for a high ammount before you see any of it.

There are no legal issues if you sign up on a paypal account with your born name and lie about your age, he worste they can do is put your funds on hold or delete your account (nothing too seriouse).

Next im looking for a paypal. low payout ad site, that looks legit of course. Correct?

Another question? Is it legal to put like lets say:

Google adsense and another ad on the same site?
g a s on 1 site then another ad is on a diff site?

@harry, well i think i go to my site(where ads are going) pretty often, is there a way to disable them from counting this ip?

You have to check the Terms of Service for each different ad provider. Some allow other ads, some don't.

No. The best you can do is get AdBlock, disable it for all sites, but then add an exception for your site to always block on it.

Do it under your own name. Worst that can happen? You get your account banned and Google enjoy their ads being clicked.
