In this thread, assume that he will be admitted into SSRL unless worthy opinions are voiced as to otherwise.

Go, I'll be back with suitable argument. Although one thing that sticks out is the thing about IRC/ban evasion.

Numerous mass highlights on IRC, followed up with "OH SHI-, SORRY!".

used to think he was on top of the world and a great scripter cus he had #1 most used script. He also used to think that made his opinions more worthy. Ban evasion on IRC, constantly bringing his bot in, although that'd go with ban evasion; Arrogant attitude; While he wasn't banned he'd constantly invite people on #srl to #srl-trivia - cry for attention; Not ready script wise.

Any of those arguments ok?

Yeah, I'd say so. I was going to try to play the other side of the argument but I can't. Only thing I can say is he though of a good idea for a script…

I think you guys shouldn't flame Harry that much. He has been on SRL for a long time, he loves SRL, he loves you guys just as he loves the community.
He can be a bit immature at times - but then again, I can't blame him - he is only 15. He can be mature when he has to be. He's usually just bored.

Great Guy, no SSRL Material.

well wizzup, those would just be my arguments for no ssrl for him;

I just pushed the maturity point because i believe that to be one of the essentials of ssrl, to have the maturity to think decisions through, to look to the future and to know how to keep your mouth shut when needed.

Just the fact that he was asking about ssrl when it is clearly said that talking about it is an automatic no shows something. He hasn't asked about it lately as far as i know but i still wouldn't believe him mature enough.

I think maturity is the main thing here and I don't he's really mature enough for SSRL.

it is clearly said that talking about [ssrl admission] is an automatic no

Well that rule's sure been ignored enough times before

I thought the rule was an automatic no to asking to be in?

When I joined this forum (at 12 years old) I was not very mature at all. I may have been a lot like Harry in reference to him being an attention whore. Now I'm 15 and I've grown up. There are many people on these forums that are of equal or younger age than Harry who are much more mature. I don't think his age is an excuse. For example, Bullzeye is one of the younger ssrl members, or members for that matter. If I remember right, he's only what, 13?

Once Harry grows up I think that we should definitely let him in. He does love this community and he does help out a lot, but he is just missing the maturity factor right now.

Just want to say, in case you guys didn't know harry's fight caver was just a modified version of a fight caver I wrote for him. He added like a sleep timer and his name basically.

I'm 15 :p

I definitely wouldn't use myself as a prime example of maturity, but I know when and where to act serious/mature. Harry seems to not realize that avoiding bans, spamming, and being generally annoying because he is either bored or wants attention won't get him anywhere..

C'mon guys, live and let live…he's just a kid who's trying the 4chan attitude as a way of fitting in. He'll probably grow out of it within a couple of years. There were times when I would of said n3ss3s would never be ssrl, but look where he is now :)
