SRL Archive - General

Hi all,
I've retrned to SRL / Scar after a reasonable break….Upon installing this new version of scar (3.15b?)..Im having some issues…They are;

-Doesnt load news
-Cannot obtain Inlucdes
-Cannot move plugins (Installing / updating SRL)


Any suggestions? It is the same on my laptop aswell……:duh:

For the news - This could be caused by a firewall?

Includes- Do you have Subversion installed? If so and it doesn't work, try doing a manual install

Plug ins - Search the forum for 'plugin fix' I have seen a few tutorials that tell you how to fix the problem. This guy had a similar problem

the SVN is down…go to here and get rev 31. then you have to get the login fix from here you should be good after that.

where do you put that revision 31 thing? In the Scar 3.15 main folder? Or inside another folder? You don't say what to do with it.

we're at revision 32 now..

get svn and do it.. search for it instead of posting :/

Still doesn't work. I extracted that into the includes folder and I did the login fix thing as stated above and this is the error I got.

You have to extract it into C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\

I suspect that you have extracted the contents of the srl folder within the archive into the above folder.

So either just drag the srl folder from the archive into the above folder or create the following folder: C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl and copy everything into there.

You should end up with a directory structure similar to the following:
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\Logs
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\Mass BitmapToString
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\place inside plugins folder
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\Scripting Tools
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\SRL

Place the contents of:
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\includes\srl\place inside plugins folder
into:
C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15b\Plugins\

Also do not download the file from Dark Arcana, only download SRL from the official Villavu.com Repository or the official Freddy1990 Mirror.

Thanks man that helped ALOT. But I still have a problem with Narcle's fighting script. It comes up with unknown identifier…maybe its because his script was made with Revision 28?
