Where would be the closest place for me to get a 360?

I need a regular one (not arcade or elite), for under $200.

Yes, I've googled, but I thought some of you might know a cheap place.

Check out a gamestop or something and see if you can get one used for cheap

Try craigslist, if you decide to buy make sure it's not modded or red ringed.

I saw a few cheap ones on eBay, haven't checked craigslist yet. Kind of afraid of craigslist tbh.

Amazon.com / ebay.com / any place that buys used and sells used/new… good luck in getting it…. and someplaces have drawings…. always take the five minutes of your time to fill those out… you never know..

This company is pretty large, actually. They buy used xboxes and refurbish them == $200 per pop.

You can even get the 360 modded after you buy it at a local modding shop, or simply do it yourself!

How might I mod something like this, SC?

View tutorials, seach google, go on irc now and i might be able to tell you more, but i don't feel like doing it now on srl lolll…

ive had 2 die on me and they were both regular ones with 60gb hard drives.

I'm going to get 2 LEDfans for the interior of it, 1 for the heatsink and one for the general unit, etc.

If I remember correctly, if ms sees that you modded it (through xbl) they perm ban your box and account from playing on xbl =/

you get banned from xbox live because with a modded box you can potentially cheat and hax and all that good jazz.

For making the mobo last longer!

lol….that's a case mod, there is no way they can detect that…
and personally my xbox has not over heated, the main problems were with the first systems I believe, and if you have no exp with case mods I suggest you practice before you take a dremel to it. I have exp with case mods, lots of it :)
