Shadow of Then Colossus is a fun game. It can get kinda repetitive. All game you have to go kill the huge monsters. Each monster has a weak point and each one is a puzzle. You might have to scale the monster and stab it in the weak point or you make have to hit it with an arrow. It is really fun trying to figure out the monsters.

God of War is great. That is the last game I played, I bought it used for $20 because I had a fever and couldn't go out because of it. Lol it was awesome, but I returned it for a full refund. :D

psp is better cuz graphics are the same, but portable ;)
Red Faction 1 (Shooter)
Lunar 1, 2 (RPG)
Musashi (Action/Adventure) - I think it's for PS1, but it's still a good game.
Splinter Cell (Stealth/Shooter)

Im really in to FPS's, so when I got my Ps2, I THOUGHT id been in heaven. Lol, I'm very much used to the computer, and not having a mouse on my Ps2 makes FPS's hard, but still, 1 I'd recomend more then any other would be, "Delta Force: Blackhawk Down". The missions are pretty fun, and diverse. I really enjoy online gaming and thats where Delta Force gets my vote. :D great game! A must buy (or download) for the gamer!

Uh, why don't you buy a mod chip for like $10 and download games? And if you're scared of wrecking your ps2, I betcha someone who's done it before would put it in for an extra $10!

God of War 2 would have to be the ultimate PS2 game (or any other platform for that matter) of all time. I know this is an older thread, but it deserves the recognition of Gow 2.. :P
