SRL Archive - Celebratory Events

So, I've reached the prestigious 2000 post count now so I guess its time to make a thread. I'm rather terrible at this so just bare with me.

Ok so if you'd been here approx 1 and a half years ago you'd have seen my 1k thread: http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22074. Well since I've been a slow poster since then a few things have happened. (It took me 8 months to reach 1k and another 16 months to reach 2k):

1. I released my Yew Gatherer.
2. Re-released my Yew Gatherer.
3. About to re-release it yet again.
4. Got my "little green alien friend" avatar.
5. I got my Useful Poster, Random Developer and Masters Cup.
6. I became an SRL Developer.
7. I got my second square thing of rep.
8. Got my "OMFG Dog" avatar.
9. I released a fishing script.
10. I made to my last year of high school.
11. I graduated from high school.
12. I started uni.
13. I've been at SRL for exactly 2 years and 1 day. (Got my yoda yesterday at about the same time).
14. I got to know lots of people on SRL
15. I'm 1 and a half years older. :eek:

My name is still Erik, I still live in Perth, Western Australia. I'm still Viet. Differences are I'm 17 now, in the first year of an engineering course at UWA and pizza's pretty boring now.

A small number of people have been great over the past 2 years:

• Nielsie95 - great guy to talk to. One of the best scripters around. Well done with all the SRL Random solvers.

• Nava2 - great guy, great scripter, one of the greatest developers SRL has had.

• SKy Scripter - random owner.
• EvilChicken! - nice guy, I still need your msn! :(
• Markus - gratz on mod!
• Rasta Magician - great guy to talk to. Great mod too.
• mastaraymond - funny avy.
• The Claw - hey there! Having fun at Coles?
• lordsaturn - great scripter, I can see you become dev pretty soon.
• 3Garrett3 - nice occasional talks on msn. Not too active on SRL anymore but.
• Harry/Hy71194 - We sorta share the same birthday, was a nice guy to talk to (haven't talked much lately).

• Hugolord - good guy to talk to. Still got you on fb.
• Iron Man - thanks for you help getting me random accs. Much appreciated! :)
• JAD - one of the people I looked up to when I first started.
• GoF - Great guy, too bad we don't talk much anymore. Cya around irc.
• kingarabian - "Could you tell me where I'd find a Red Rooster?"
• Lee Lok Hin - Wonderful guy to talk to, all the way up there in Hong Kong. Been nice talking to you on IRC/MSN.
• MasterKill - I remember using your scripts once upon a time.
• Method - nice talking on IRC, thanks for the Reflection Hooks updater.
• mormonman - Thanks also for your accs in various randoms! :D
• N1ke1 - took me about 4 tries to spell your name correctly. Oh well nice casual talks on IRC etc.
• NiCbaZ - another fellow Australian.
• PvH - had fun talking on msn, too bad I didn't get a change to see you when you can to aus lol :p
• R0b0t1 - Terrible name to spell but well worth it.
• Runescapian - talked to you a couple times on IRC.
• Shady? - nice guy, thanks for continuing my script. Good scripter.
• Shuttleu - funny name, nice person.
• Smartzkid - He's smart.
• Special Ed - He's special.
• Simtoon - not sure who this is but saw him on IRC once or twice. ;)
• The Cnr Sport - I dunno talked to you once I think.
• TSN - nice guy to talk to on msn.
• Tickyy - what is your problem lol.
• Timer - He times things.
• Tootoot222 - your name confused me more than once before. Nice guy to talk to though.
• Widget - nice talking to you on IRC. I think you started about the same time as me so its been good seeing us sorta "grow up" at SRL together.
• SantaClause - was great talking to you on msn. Too bad you prob won't see this post.

• BobboHobbo - nice talking on msn also.
• p1nky/~~Joker~~ - terrible name change (I actually had to search youup to find the correct number of symbols) but w/e. Nice talking to you on msn.

• noidea - occasional talk on irc.
• DansTheMan - unlike p1nky's name change yours is actually a good one.
• The _Rs_Monkey - was a great scripter and great guy to talk to.
• Iroki - the other random owner.

If you went mentioned heres a couple of possible reasons:

1. You haven't visited the forum in the last 24 hours
2. You aren't on my msn
3. You are on my msn but have no references to your SRL Name
4. You weren't on IRC at 1346 UTC on 12 April 2009
5. You were on IRC but have not references to your SRL Name
6. I haven't talked to you enough. Sorry :(
7. I missed you cos I was busy thinking of everyone else.
8. Your name is towards the end of my msn/srl users online list so I skipped it.
9. Your name is either too yellow or too light green and I didn't see it on the list.

Also if you didn't get to see a pic of me in my 1k thread then too late I removed it about 5 mins ago. Although if I can be bothered I'll try get a pic later.
