Some may not see this as a poem but whatever
Oh Mother Nature your stunning beauty shines through it all. Through the grime and the grit this world so magnificently produces. No matter what you are able to still draw the forefathers of your presence to the present day realities. The mortals are draw to your so secretly hidden traps, like the wicked blackness located within your eyes. Oh Mother Nature yes you are beautiful but your eyes, you eyes are dressed to kill. They stare such a blank stare right at my chest as if you can see my heart beat. Your eyes cannot hide what I fear you are planning. Yes I, a known mortal, know what you so greedily desire. The desire that dwells deep inside, where you cannot touch it. The desire that brings about shaking hands and boiling blood at the mere thought. The desire that make grown men weep and little children hide beneath the silky covers of their beds. The desire that would mask the moon for one hundred years if you had no pity for us mortals. I know this because I know you Mother Nature, I know all of your surprising beauties and wicked evils. You may not think that a mortal and touch you but I have touched and loved you Oh Mother Nature. You used me up and stuck me down, casting me back into the mortal world. You closed the door to your heart and put the key in the one place no one will ever be able to touch, your heart.
You cannot hide that yet still you feel for me, long for me to be by your side. Long for me to share the laughter we once had. Further more long for me to take you hand as we walk to your greatest creations. You long for the day when we saw two swans gliding across the lake, so smoothly intertwined. The sheer beauty touched our hearts and most of all our souls. I also know you long to feel your soul alive again, feel the elements flow through your veins, but it will not happen without me by your side. After you stuck me down, stole my soul, and cast me back into the mortal world; I guess the question becomes will I return to your side. Oh Mother Nature I do long to answer you but i cannot for that would be knowing the future. We cannot know what is in store for us so for now we shall hang in the balance of the Angels strumming their golden harps or in the generous care of unknown gods deep in the next world.
