SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

9th April 2009 - Free player forum access

Today, we have opened up the forums for high level free players to be able to post!

All free players who have earned over 12.5 million XP (that roughly equates to someone having all F2P skills on level 72) are now able to post. Exciting times!

There could be around 250,000 new forum users to add to the current active forum users, and over the coming weeks and months, we will gradually enable more high level free players to have access.

If you’re a member currently, and already have access to post on the forums, we’d appreciate it if you could give our new forum guests a warm welcome.

If you’re new to the forums, have a read of the Forum Code of Conduct and please check the Forum Specific Rules on the forums you want to post on. There’s also a welcome thread in the Recent Updates forum – check it out.

Enjoy!

That means I can go on them :D

I'm sure not many F2P people have chars that level, may be wrong.

Interesting.

I like it. Except for the experience required, as I doubt I'll ever get an account that high without becoming P2P.

Excellent, if you were a p2p and became a nonmem, your XP still counts :D

Anyone who has that much XP will probably become a P2P anyway.

woot lol. problem is im a member lol…. :( and i NEVER use forms after grand exch update

Meh. Its a good idea, still.

Lol that's not much xp to acses

>.> yeah.. it's easy to get that..

get one skill to 98.. then you can get in.. >.>

Very nice. I'm gonna sign up.

I have been waiting for this to happen for ages. I have an extremely high f2p account and I can finally post in the forums! I am definitely signing up!

I have a lot of F2P rune pure friends who like this update. :) This update was pretty much to encourage people to play more so they could post imo.

oh wow… I was 12 then:
