Okay well the first problem is when I go to File>Download Includes I get "Error while obtaining includes list!" but it still does say that I got it.
Secondly, when I run the script to see if SMART works I get "[Runtime Error] : Exception: Access violation at address 006165B1 in module 'scar.exe'. Read of address 00000000 in line 355 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/Login.scar"
What is causing this? I have tried reinstalling everything, to no avail!

solution to both, I am assuming your running vista, to fix
make sure scar is closed.
Right click on scar.exe, choose run as administrator.
Now you can download includes.

im sorry zasz, but that doesnt work. i have tried that all to no avial. im having exactly the same problem as meean. i have tried everything but nothings works. please help soon!!!

Make sure you are connected to the internet and are the admin of your computer.

After noticing this post, I realized my Dl includes also have same problem.
1. I am connected to internet (of course…)
2. I'm using xp home edition. and there's only one user. The Admin.
3. my Dl includes used to work… last time i clicked it was back in Dec 08…

I don't think you need to download includes..
I've been saying it for awhile and nobody's been flaming so I assume I'm right..
I've never downloaded them and I can run everything..

You don't even need those includes they are really old O_O. Only SRL is what you need. Maybe Reflection if you want.

yeah im getting the same problem, tried ZaSz solution even though im not on vista, XP home, it didnt work either. everything seems to run fine anyways. so w/e i guess :P

You don't need the includes.They are old. The site that scar is trying to connect to is no longer active. Just SRL is enough. Download that =D.
