They can do alot if they just want to. Like add some CAPTCHA system (sleeping in the good old RSC times for example) which would make cheating atleast with SCAR pretty much hell. One good thing is that I doubt they'll never have any punkbuster type of system as afaik it'd require them to have players download some crap and that'd sort of go againts their "crappy browser game" way.

That is for sites that are designed to steal your account, like by making a "RS3 Beta! Login here!", as those are illegal to steal their passwords.

I mean they can't go and shut-down our community because we cheat in their game. They can make it hell for us, but they can not destroy us.

Oh, meh.. but I still stay firm with that they can not do anything to physically shut us down. At best they can make complex randoms, but they can't sue us/force us to close the server.

even if the forums are shut down (which it wont be) but lets say it is… SCAR and SRL will still exist ;) What are they gonna do, hack into ALL our comps and delete SCAR and SRL? :p

Don't worry, they won't shut any cheating sites down, because as jagex said themselves, there are no cheats in runescape. :rolleyes:
