Do the forums automatically mark all topics as read as soon as you leave them or what? Seems like they do;
If so, is it possible to change this to the old way, whereyou have to mark it read yourself? I really hate the current way tbh, I think the old way was a lot better.

I think they do automatically get marked as read, I'd prefer it the old way as well.

Another thing that would be good is to have the "New posts" button display only new threads/posts, it shows read ones I noticed.

When I click new posts, all it does is show the posts since the last time I logged in, including the ones that I have already read.

I like the new system .. I log in like once a day, then just go through once that look interesting, then they are gone.

I like the old one. I don't seem to get any new posts when I look around. (this wasnt even new to me)

I just wanna see old but unread threads back in the New Posts search again.

Solution: AdminCP, vBulletin options, Options, General settings, Thread/Forum Read Marking Type, choose the third one (Database (automatic forum marking)).
