He has sent me about five accounts, nice guy. Can't spell but still helped a lot. :)

Kinda offtopic: Is this the right place to put this?

Well you're suggesting someone to get a cup, so I'd assume it would go in the "Cup Suggestions and Member Promotions" forum. I thought the tester cup was for people who tested lots of scripts and provided good feedback though? Maybe another cup for people who donate lots of accounts in randoms?

I think lending accs is part of testing/helping to test SRL. I say give it to him. Also give it to Iron Man and mormonman. They've been sending me lots of accs as well.

I am not entirely sure if SRL Tester still grantsmember ship… I think it used to be a Members only cup.

I always took tester as testing scripts and such. Sending accounts just seems like a civic duty.

How about a new cup for people who help SRL, but don't script themselves? (i.e. by lending accounts and that sort of things).

I agree with that… new cup

i agree with zeph. giving accounts for devs to sort randoms out should go in srl tester direction. after all, they could test it themselves, but only the devs would know exactly what to look for, therfore making the devs feedback more valuable. But they still gave the account. :)

He is trying to script, for the record.

But I still think he deserves it. Or some kind of cup.

As do mormonman and Iron Man. :D

Community Contributor cup? People deserve recognition for making an effort to better the srl include or better the srl community. But in certain instances, there is no cup to award that would be appropriate, even though a commendation should be given for the effort some individuals have put forth.

Replace the tester cup with that cup?

I think that the tester cup has it's place. It is for people who specifically enjoy testing scripts and giving detailed feedback to help scripters better their scripts. This would be more of a general purpose cup to commend people for contributing when there really isn't anything too specific they have contributed with, such as scripts, tutorials, helping (in the sense of scripting help), testing…etc.

I agree, but I think both the tester cup and the community contributor cup is a bit overkill. The tester cup is handed out sparingly as it is, imo we should merge them.

+1 to JAD. No need to merge imo, granted testing cup is helping the community but then again so are helpers cup, scripters cup, tutorial writers cup etc. It would be worth having a community helper cup for the miscellaneous things that currently don't fit anywhere else

What about a "Development Supporter" Cup? They are supporting SRL Developers by supplying accounts?

i preffer claw's idea, as his is more general rather than specific as yours is, i think that if we agree on claw's cup in the future we won't have to go over this again.

I also think we should hand out cups more often, it'd be beautiful to see a button on a post (next to report / infract) where you could suggest it for a cup :p

When you said "yours", was that referring to my post or Hobbit's? I don't think that Claw had a different idea than mine, he just agreed with it :p

If you were referring to what Hobbit said but got me and Claw mixed up, then I agree; I think that the community helper cup would solve more problems for a lack of a cup then a development supporter cup would.
