i have no clue whats going on.

No its fine… i see msn, anti virus, google… its all normal… anything using a network connection will show in there when you call /netstat

AFAIK you can't ddos someone unless they are running a server…

you can just guess. pick the most common open ports. Gimme your ip and ill prove it to ya :P

Or you can do a port scan on the IP address :P Ubuntu comes with the tools already installed
