If I am correct, I changed the infraction system. You do no longer need to provide a reason. But not sure how this works for you, since all forum actions are instant for me :)

Do we still provide administrative note? Or is it just basically infract them and leave?

Fakawi, even though Hobbit just created a lengthy topic that we need to be more specific in the Infraction reasoning?
Makes sense to me.. If someone gets infracted for double posting and the infraction says so it's pretty self-explanitory, so writing an additional message that says something like: "You double posted, and rules say you shouldn't double post." is just stating the obvious (twice, unless the person hasn't read the rules, and IMHO people are recommended to read the rules enough already).

There isn't even an infraction option for double posting :(, only triple posting.

I don't know… I dont really like this idea… Cause also like what about us staff who go over them later. If there is no reason or anything we'll be left thinking "Wth is this for…" sometimes… Like one yesterday that i was a bit confused about :p

The obvious is not always obvious to others. Agree with Hobbit on this one, some type of note for the cause other then the selected infraction.
Well, for some infractions a message may be necessary, but for others I don't think a message is necessary. Some of the things to infract for are clear cut, such as triple posting, while others are more to the discretion of the infracter, such as spam or insulting other members. You shouldn't really need a message when infracting for triple posting, but something that is more opinion should be given a message.
This does not take away the option for us to send a message out with the infraction. It simply gives us the choice not to send one in situations when it isn't necessary.
