Welcome. Here is my release of my signature widget :)

What it does: You go to SRL's IRC, and say "!sig <what text you want in my signature>". Then, it will automatically add it to the sig :)

I might release the code in a few weeks.

Thanx for this, I think that you should make VIP or something so people can donate to you (like 1$) and then that money goes to the Villavu payments and that person gets one of these in their sig.

Why would he make something, sell it then give the money to VillaVu?

To help out the community by paying a small part of the payments needed for it to run mby?

To be honest, the bandwidth this requires would cost Villavu more than $1 :rolleyes: But it is a nice idea, but it would probably fail.

Heres a smaller idea, easier to do aswell, being able to click on links in the sig, idk how it would work or if its possible but that would be awsume

Would be impossible, as I can't have the PHP image change the signature's URL. ;)

How do you get your bot to stay on in PHP indefinitely? The only way I was able to do it was that I had to have the actual page open for my bot to connect.

Nope. I have my mIRC client, (which is always on), connect to a PHP page, "index.php?<my secret keyword (it tis a long MD5 hash, so don't try to guess it :_)>=<what was said in mIRC>" and it updates the text file, which the image uses to generate.

This gave me an idea… yes.. Another Tniffoc IRC Bot.

No. It was a flaw in the code that allowed PHP characters (IE %A0) to be sent, making weird spaces and faked quotes, etc. But I fixed it :D

How quickly does it update?

Enjoy looking at all the abuse :p It will limit that to only 50 lines though, so it won't make a huge file. (Though I doubt people will abuse it)

Fixed the escape char problem when someone did a ' symbol.

Update: Temporary disabled until I work a few things out with Wizzup.

Also, I am considering making it Open-Sauce. Any comments on that idea?
Only problem I see with that is tons of nubs using it, it will feel less 'special' to me (:

Sure, feel free to. :) I just do not want a ton of people using the PHP code if I was to post it, then making their own bot idle at IRC as a total rip-off of this project.

That portion of the code defines the properties of the image, so people with fail browsers do not get errors :) It also defines the properties, such as to not cache the image in their browser.
