As you all have probably noticed, we have reinstalled ads. Hopefully they will pay for hosting. Now, if you happen to see something of interest, please feel free to investigate the link provided :)

TIA,

WT!

Don't do that. Anything on this website that says "click ads" or "support us" will make AdSense disable Fakawi's account. It happened on my host. Don't do it unless you want SRL to die.

True. I think Rasta is aware of that, that's why he proposed putting it inside a graphic, so they won't notice.

But hey, dont click too much. It's ok as it is.

Thats why I have made this thread members only. I dont think spider can acces Members, at least I dont hope so :)

Fakawi has a point Harry. If you make a graphic and then just like put it as a little print in the corner, it wont matter. Is isnt like he's saying "CLICK THE LINKS".

Harry, adsense have a habit of locking accounts that are not business/heavily populated. SRL brings in alot of revenue for Google I'm sure, so I doubt they would shut down Fakawi's account.

A bigger site which gets more money from them, they would be more likely to search around more..

TorrentOfFlame> your host was no thing compared to SRL, lets be honest.
<Harry``> TorrentOfFlame, my host was less = they DO check everything
<Harry``> they'd be more likley to look at a bigger host
<TorrentOfFlame> Harry``: they have a habit of checking little things to they dont have to pay out, actually.
<TorrentOfFlame> they get some free revenue then fuck you over
<TorrentOfFlame> but its harder to do with bigger sites
<TorrentOfFlame> because they get too much revenue off them tbh

Your wrong Harry.

Seriously why do you need anything that says you need to click ads? If you don't know that clicking ads gives the web page that revenue…get off the internet. People will click ads if something interests them.

+1

Also, even if you feel they won't look.. why risk it??

I'm not convinced clicking ads like that works.

please correct me if I'm incorrect, this is my reasoning.

the click prices are set by advertisers bidding, right?
the more turnover they get, the higher they'll be prepaired to bid,

when you click ads like this, you're making advertisers pay without using their services.
that will make them bid less for the adverts.

so the click price will steadily fall, you wont get extra money.

maybe I've explained it bad,

google is smart you see, they use the invisible hand to protect themselves and their advertisers somewhat.

I concur! Google is *not* stupid, just try and upload copyrighted audio to youtube…

Thanks guys. If we get like 50/60 unique clicks a day, hosting is paid for.
