I would guess to make so no spammz0rs can spam you with viruses?

why try to hax 1 person via PM, when you can hax everyone with your virus attached to a thread? I liked being able to attach in PM's… :(

Same. To send over a script or something and you don't want to do all the hassle of upping to somewhere else or something.

You can't even send them by copy/paste anymore because of the character limit. :(
