Naum

2009-03-28 06:21:19

Very nice form! I really like how easy it is to choose between members and free items.

Here's a quick edit to the DoiT procedure to add multiple pages :D
Procedure DoiT;
var
i, pages: integer;
new: String;
Begin
If RadioButton1.Checked Then Opt := 'no' Else
If RadioButton2.Checked Then Opt := 'yes' Else
Opt := '';

ProgressBar1.Position := 10 + Random(10);

Site := GetPage('http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?query='+Edit1.Text+'&Price='+Price+'&members='+Opt);

pages := ceil(strtoint(GetNumbers(Between('<div id="search_results_text">', 'items matched', Site)))/20);
if(pages > 1) then
begin
New := Between('<tbody>', '</tbody>', Site);
for i:= 2 to pages do
begin
New := New + Between('<tbody>', '</tbody>', GetPage('http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?page='+inttostr(i)+'&query='+Edit1.Text+'&Price='+Price+'&members='+Opt));
end;
Site := '<th>Relevance</th>'+New+'</tbody>';
end;

ProgressBar1.Position := 50 + Random(40);
Wait(200);
ProgressBar1.Position := 100;
ProgressBar1.Position := 0;
End;
2009-04-10 18:29:13

nice one, maybe add picture of item?

2009-04-10 18:46:17

Great program man! You should consider adding pictures of the items and increase the number of items per page but other then that it is a fantastic program.

Pictures might not work, they are gifs on there. BMPs only can be displayed on forms I believe. Maybe you may be able to convert somehow or use a different bitmap library of items.

maybe add a way to find an item through price ;o?

Da 0wner

2009-04-20 06:04:00

Would be pretty hard maybe many items have near same price.

Very nice script, displaying the examine info once you selected the item is really the only improvement not already mentioned which I can think of so very nice work!

EDIT: Repped

Thanks, It makes me happy that people actually like one of my apps :)

But making the examine info would actually be easy :). Do that?

Naum

2009-04-23 23:20:08

Sure i'll get onto it, as soon as a double click happens a new window will open up :)

ian.

2009-04-24 04:56:37

You should add low, medium, and high prices :)

lightcam999

That's a really cool idea. Dunno how useful it will be since RuneScape's GE searcher works fine, but neat nonetheless.

OMFg0rz NaumanAkhlaq, this is awsoME :D!very good work on this!
rep ++!! :D

oh and for an idea… you should make a function that is like: ValueItem(Item: string; Members: Boolean): String;
that like grabs the thing then gives it as a string
then maybe you can add it to SRL if it is good enough :p and if you do make a function like that please post it here or private message it to me… thanks
omg this is so awsome!

Very nice, Nauman ;D (Also this is quite ancient). I'm wanting to write an own function for that actually, so that i can always get the current price for my proggies.

Btw. If you dont want your programme to freeze while downloading, you can use timer ;).

I think that may be especially good, when downloading the details/graph of an item.
