I am looking for an extremely experienced scripter to teach me how to script. My goal is to become an SRL member. I am willing to pay up to 10 dollars paypal. Once I create my first script, or become an SRL member, you will get payed. I am sorry if this is against the rules, but the tutorials realy are not helping me, I feel a hands-on tutoring experience will be more helpful. Thank you!

What scripts have you tried making, I found the best way to learn was to try, just make anything you want to, for free!

Another way is to look at other scripts, or the includes in SRL, you'd be suprised how much you learn from looking at other peoples.

Richard, you are a freaking genius. Made your own scripts when you were f***** 12!? Im 15 now, have a 4.6, and cant figure this stuff out. You are gonna go far kid.

Looking at other scripts really has not helped me much. I am looking for a seasoned professional willing to work with me. Thanks though!

Yes, me too. I started C++ scripting when I was in middle school :D

It helps the my dad is a "Computer Whizz" (got a mug to prove it :p), just keep at it and you'll be ok :)

And I was 14 (just) when I wrote my first script, then about 2 months later my mate NaumAkhlaQ helped me get members :)

Scar scripting is not hard and why pay if people is able to help you free? Im 14 years old and I consider this easy. For me, C++ is hard and a pain to learn, but i'm doing it :D

No, I really would like to pay. Id hate to take up someones time for nothing =)

You could think of it as a way to take up there time, like if they are bored lately…

I might be able to in the next holidays, 3rd-20th of april I think, but currently I'm a bit busy with GCSEs, and I'm overloading myself with learning Java and C++ at the same time :p

Stop by the IRC and you should be able to receive help from the members there. Most are pretty experienced in SCAR and will be able to help you defeat errors and learn the basics of SCAR (provided you read tutorials first).

That was an epic fail. IRC I failed at. Need more help

Age really doesn't have anything to do with it; just practice and the ability to wrap your head around the concepts.

Scriptings easy dude, if you have a 4.6 (what percentile is that btw? just wondering) you should be able to do it no worries. Just read some good scripts, figure out what does what

It takes a bit to grasp the concept, once you do, you will understand it.
